This book is what Forex trading is actually about. There are plenty of people pretending to give real advice when really they are just trying to sell a course or a system. This book focuses less on indicators and more on the real important things in Currency trading. Like using money management and position sizing to stay alive.
Not everyone will like this book because it does not do the usual thing in trying to sell you the “holy grail”. It is the best information I have read on forex to date, and trust me when I say I have bout some real expensive duds in the past.
Worth the money if you apply whats in the book.

This is a very well written book, but I was expecting a little more. The method he uses looks very simple to me and seems subjective. The section on leverage however is well worth a second read. For the price its not too bad.

I agree with Jasons comment entirely. This is a real book about real forex trading. Not the sales hype that most of these scammers rehash. It is sometimes a lttle dry in places but well worth the read. If you are over reading about “our new magical indicator that can predict the market 100%” then this is the book for you.
Forex is nowhere near as easy as most people make out. But you can be profitable. Its when you treat it like gambling that you get stung.

Bird Watching in Lion Country is an excellent book. Very clear and easy to understand. I have been trading forex for over 4 years and I learned alot from it. I would definately recommend it.The 4 x 1 strategy is solid and Dirk doesnt do the normal hype thing as others have mentioned. The hardest part is getting yourself to be unemotional and simply follow the rules.
